Why You Should Play Jacks or Better

Based on the traditional card poker game, Jacks or Better has been redeveloped into an excellent, fast-paced video poker game by Microgaming. It's easy to play, and you simply have to get one winning hand to secure a payout. Winning hands available are a maximum Royal Flush, followed by Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair and Jacks or Better – hence the game’s name. Royal Flush – the game’s biggest payout – consists of the top five cards of the same suit. Payouts start from a simple Two Pair of Jacks, matching two of the same cards on the deck.

How to Play

Five cards are dealt on your screen, and you must decide which cards you want to keep to get the best five-card hand possible. The Bet Size can be adjusted using the Settings tab in a sub-screen, where you can also toggle the Sounds and Double Features. Press ‘Hold’ to keep the cards you want on the deck, and tap ‘Deal’. The discarded cards will be replaced with new cards, and you can see what each winning hand is worth above the deck. Good luck!

Double Feature

In the Double feature, players can attempt to double their round winnings up to five times, and you can disable this feature in the settings menu.
