Why You Should Play The Bermuda Mysteries
Based around the myth of the Bermuda Triangle, NextGen’s 5-reel, 25-payline slot paints a picture of choppy waters on a rain-lashed evening in the North Atlantic, as Navy vessels battle through the waves and small warplanes fly through the green-tinged skies. The symbols include a life jacket and ship’s radio, while even the background music adds to the sense of trepidation. It is all expertly designed, and just as much attention has been put into making the game’s features fun and easy to play.
How to Play
You can regulate the number of paylines by using the + and – buttons, and then just click up or down to alter the size of your bet. Casual players can wager just 1p a spin, or you can go right up to £50 a go. The green Spin button on the right will get the game started, or can hit the yellow Autoplay icon to go up to 100 times without stopping. The Info button also brings up more details about the exciting features.
The dashing, old-fashioned pilot serves as the game’s Wild symbol. It appears on reels two, three and four and substitutes for other symbols apart from the map and the badge. All wins with the pilot are doubled.
The golden badge is the game’s main Scatter symbol and will reward you with 12 free spins if you land three more anywhere on the reels. The multiplier also increases by 1x if a green radar symbol appears on reel five during the free spins. It isn’t possible to trigger more free spins, but you can kick-start the Rescue Bonus.
Available through the base game or the free spins round, you can trigger the Rescue Bonus by landing three or more map icons. You then have the chance to sweep the area for prizes, and win a random reward if a plane or ship is revealed. However, if you find a flying saucer, broken compass, freak wave, whirlpool or wormhole, the round is over.
The Gamble button next to the Spin icon lights up every time you win and you have the opportunity to double or quadruple your win by predicting the colour or suit of a playing card. Get it wrong, though, and your win will be lost at sea!
